We are very proud to announce that Yiwen wins the external page2020 Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize in Physics! She shares the prize in the field of "Emergent Phenomena and Functionality in Metamaterials and Heterostructures" with Dr. Yuan Cao from Harvard University, USA and Prof. Ronny Thomale from the Julius-Maximilians Universitat in Würzburg, Germany. The award ceremony will be held on 23 November 2021.

The Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize in Physics is awarded to "selected outstanding young scientists below 40 years, who already at this early stage in their carreer have made a unique and groundbreaking contribution and are among the world leaders in their field of research".
